I googled 'love' and the first result was The Love Calculator. How much more trivial can it get?! Shocking. And as expected the images results were hearts and roses. No surprises.


I came across this and I thought that as far as worldly love goes, this is a pretty perfect definition.

Food for the senses- Caperberry

There is no doubt about it; dinner at Caperberry last night was the most spectacular and exquisite meal I have had.

Doorways

I've listened to this song, 'Doorways' by Radical Face about 20 times today. It's making me feel a bit sad because I'd rather be playing tribal games in the forest than designing a shopping complex right now. 


I'm having those flashbacks followed by wishing too often these days. It wasn't that long ago that I'd long to be 'grown-up'. I'd rather be care-free. (I'm saying all this and I know at the back of my head that I haven't seen anything yet. Things are only going to get less care-free!) Now I see children playing hide and seek and wish that hiding and searching was only part of a fun game.

Hong Kong Density

So, there's a chance that I could go to Hong Kong for my internship. The plan made it to my list of many options!


I was aimlessly browsing architecture in Hong Kong and other random things about the place, and I came across the works of photographer Michael Wolf. How do people live there??! Claustrophobia is not the word. Yikes! 

#17. Get something published.

It was quite exciting to see my article, 'A Matter of Perspective' get published in the ZoNASA 2010 magazine Tangent. Hopefully, this is the first of many. :)


I wrote the article for Blueprint (our department blog) as a picture article for M. C. Escher's 'Never-ending Staircase'

Ingredients!

For the past few months, I've had this keen interest in Typography. It started when I found a video on youtube made using kinetic typography. "Mad as Hell"

That video took me to more videos and more articles and lots more websites, and I couldn't stop.

I took part in the Typography Day 2011 poster competition conducted by NID, Ahmedabad. The poster was to reflect any Indian theme and I chose the poem, 'The Banyan Tree' by Rabindranath Tagore as my inspiration/concept.

I didn't get shortlisted, but I am still quite impressed with my poster. :)

So, I spent most of today online (currently 21 tabs open on my browser!!!!) and was suddenly inspired to make a Brownie Points company card using typography, with ALL the ingredients of the brownies, lemon muffins and banana cake. It was not 11 hours completely useless on the computer. I'm quite excited to get this printed. :)

India Knight, you are the inspiration for my sudden burst of blogginess! I salute you. (I spent most of today reading your blog)

Resolution 27.02.11 (I do not, as a rule, make resolutions for the new year. I mean, why wait for the start of a year!)- Manage a (cool) Blog (regularly).

I kept the name- Fudge Together but changed the background and layout. All ready for a new start.
