Burgers and Fry-ups

Friday night + Mum in bed with fever + slight laziness to cook anything fancy = Burgers* and Fry-up.

*burgers were bought not homemade.

Anyway, so here goes-

1. Buns and bagels

Half them and lightly toast if you like it warm.

2. Make mayonnaise:

This was the first time I made it and it came out well. Add 3 tbsps of lemon juice, 1 tbsp of sugar and 1/2 tsp of salt and 4 cloves of garlic to one egg. Then add about 100ml of olive oil and blend together. Voila!
Note: If too runny, add more oil.

I then added half an onion- fried till brown, and also added dried tomatoes. Gave the mayonnaise some colour and flavour.
3. Make egg mayonnaise:

Use half of the mayonnaise to make the egg filling. Boil 4 eggs and dice. I found this wire egg slicer in the kitchen, which I remember from when we were really small. Don't think its been used for ages. Was so much fun to use.

Finely chop up 1 small onion. Mix with boiled egg and mayonnaise. Add salt, lemon pepper and 1 tsp of mustard. Would have been nice with some chives or cress, but didn't have any. Also add grated cheese (about 1/2 cup).

4. FRY

Fry onions and mushrooms with oil, salt and pepper till nice and brown. Also thaw frozen burgers on a pan with a tiny bit of oil. Use any kind of burgers. Even better, make your own.

5. Fresh Veggies:

Use lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, and whatever else you like.

6. Assemble and Eat:

This needs no explanation!
